Marshal Garbus is an attorney with CoveyLaw’s performing arts immigration practice, where he counsels clients on U.S. inbound artist mobility. Primarily focusing on O and P visas, his clients range from individuals and ensembles to large-scale productions.

Marshal has been practicing immigration law since 2020, initially with a focus on corporate clients in the financial and technology services sector, along with family-based and investment-based immigration matters.

Marshal holds a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from Tulane University Law School. During law school, Marshal participated in the Tulane University Law School Immigrants’ Rights Practicum, where he assisted a client in removal proceedings with a successful T-Visa application. He also served as Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal, where he has also been published.

Prior to law school, Marshal was a Brooklyn-based musician, playing guitar in various bands while working in the restaurant industry.

Marshal is admitted to the New York State Bar.
