Sophie joins CoveyLaw as a evidence associate in the performing arts and immigration department. She graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in vocal performance and journalism. Following her editorial internship with Stereogum, Sophie began pursuing her passion for the intersection of music and storytelling and how artists reflect their influences. She writes about the impact found sound has had in music history in a newsletter called Sounds Familiar. Past credits include narrating and producing an audio project for Rails-To-Trails Conservancy and bringing Annie Lennox’s Diva to a sleepover in the first grade. Her version of Disney World is the Newport Folk Festival.
