Scottish-born soprano Iz Argondizza holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Vocal Performance from Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. At CoveyLaw, Iz edits and prepares evidence for the Performing Arts Document Department. Iz has been at CoveyLaw since July 2021.
Iz is a performing artist in the New York area focusing on Art Song and Opera. They have performed most recently as Ophelia from Thomas’ Hamlet in the Bard College Opera Workshop production Companions, an ensemble member by invitation in Sing, Bard! A Graduate Program Gala Concert with Stephanie Blythe, Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and as Miss I in Promenade by María Irene Fornés at the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, NY. Iz was the 2020 Presser Undergraduate Scholar at Bard College, and the recipient of both the 2021 Margaret Creal Shafer Prize in Performance and the 2019 Paul J. Pacini Prize in Music at Bard College.
